My journey through life, much like everyone else's, has not always taken the direction I had planned. My varied experiences through family issues, corporate crises, ministry challenges and a career transition provide me with a special understanding and compassion for others facing the obstacles of life change. Through the twists and turns of my own journey, I have learned to embrace the obstacles in my life as opportunities for positive change and I am passionate about empowering others to do the same. I believe that my life's purpose is to empower and equip others to live their lives to their fullest potential.
My designated niche is leadership and executive coaching, and my diverse life experience gives me a broad perspective from which to draw upon. My passion is to help both current and future leaders leverage their unique passions and strengths and develop a lifestyle of authentic leadership. Through this process, my clients learn to live into their own unique style, rather than try to become someone else.
Interests & Family
When I'm not working, you will most likely find me playing golf, relaxing with friends, writing on my blog, playing the piano or volunteering at church. I live with Troy, my husband of 14 years and am "mom" to two furry canine children.
Experience & Education
I am a Certified Life Coach through the Institute of Life Coach Training and a Certified Professional Behavioral, Values & Trimetrix Analyst, which allows me to administer and coach with the DISC, Motivators and Strengths (PTSI) assessments through Target Training International.
My educational background consists of an accounting degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Rockhurst University. I am a former CPA and Corporate Controller with a 15 year career in Corporate America, including several years experience in the financial planning industry. In addition, I have also served as Women's Ministry Director of a medium-sized church.
